Equine Center ($500,000) - This large structure encloses the Robbie Nutt “A Circle of Friends” Indoor Arena and dominates our facility. It allows STAR to double up classes, host special events, and keeps our riders and staff protected during inclement weather. This facility also houses the Lenoir City Civitan Observation Room so parents may watch classes.
Covered Outdoor Arena ($200,000) - This covered outdoor arena overlooks the rolling hills of East Tennessee, allowing STAR another area to hold classes. This arena is shaded, allowing a cooler place during the summer for one-on-one classes, OT classes, and schooling STAR's equine partners. West Wing Stables ($75,000) - This area was added in 2024 to allow more space for additional STAR Equine Partners. This area has five spacious stalls and a small covered classroom area. It is connected to the Lucille S. Thompson Family Foundation Stables. Classroom Space (West Wing Stables Area) ($25,000) - This area in our most-recent stall additions offers a place for field trips and other groups to gather for learning opportunities. Horses can be put in cross ties there, allowing for learning about the horse during different events. This is an open-air area that is covered and shaded. Compost Station ($20,000) - This structure converts a by-product (manure) into a sought after commodity (compost) that gives STAR the opportunity to reuse, recycle, and offer this product as a revenue generator. Stalls ($15,000 each) (13 Available) - Well-lit, airy, and handicap accessible, our 29 stalls provide a comfortable living space for each horse. (Limited Availability) Trailer Storage Area ($12,000) - This covered area behind the stable is used to keep our equipment out of the elements which extends the life of the trailers. ADA Accessible Bathroom ($3,000 each) (4 Available) - Found in the Education & Administration Building, these facilities are large enough for a care provider to assist if necessary, and they are very much appreciated by staff, riders, parents, and visitors!
