Emily Justus
Executive Director

As an accomplished 15-year marketing executive in brand strategy, client management, fundraising, and content production, Emily has built a career at the intersection of sports, advertising, philanthropy, and client service. Most recently serving as Vice President at REINE Digital, Emily oversaw agency operations, creative processes, and strategic consultation for high-profile brands in the NASCAR industry, including AXALTA, Hoosier Racing Tire, and LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, as well as professional athletes such as Jimmie Johnson, Brad Keselowski, and Erik Jones. With expertise in social media marketing, content production, and brand strategy, Emily has played a pivotal role in driving storytelling initiatives across various campaigns.
Prior to joining REINE Digital, Emily held a six-year tenure at Tombras as a VP, Account Director, managing creative and media campaigns for brands such as Truist Financial, BB&T Bank, Darden Restaurants, and Bristol Motor Speedway. There, Emily led cross-functional teams, overseeing media strategies, creative productions, and data optimizations.
Earlier in her career, Emily spent roughly four years at Octagon agency, leading social media and sponsorship activations for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Her role included developing digital marketing strategies, managing fan engagement initiatives, and directing brand ambassadors at NASCAR tracks throughout the country.
Emily also served in various secondary and higher education roles running special events and capital campaigns for Woodberry Forest School, fundraising for the University of Virginia’s $3 Billion Capital Campaign, and working in Admissions for Elon University. A graduate of Elon, Emily earned an MBA and a B.S. in Business Marketing, excelling as a student-athlete on the university’s Division I Women’s Soccer team.
Beyond her professional career, she has served a Barn Volunteer with STAR and spends any free time watching her son, Deacon, play ice hockey, soccer, baseball, and more. Emily enjoys taking horseback riding lessons, and she and Deacon love raising their backyard chickens and rabbits along with their Golden Retriever, Gunnar, at their home in Knoxville.
