
Lynn Klimas Petr |
Lynn
is STAR's founder and full-time Executive Director/Program
Coordinator. She holds a BS degree in Special Education, and a MS
in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Tennessee. She is an Advanced Level NARHA Instructor and mentor.
Lynn is also a NARHA lead on-site visitor for the National Accreditation
Program, Faculty for the Center Accreditation Training and is the Chair of NARHA's Education Oversight Committee.

Kristen Sanders |
Kristen
is STAR's Director of Adminstration and is an Advanced Level NARHA Instructor. She has a BS in Marketing and a MBA degree
from Tennessee Technological University. Kristen is also an Associate Site Visitor for the NARHA National Accreditation program.

Melissa Suadi |
Melissa
is STAR's Volunteer Coordinator. She has a passion for the
special needs community and obtained experience in
the field by volunteering as a Therapy Assistant at Adam’s
Camp, a Colorado-based nonprofit organization. Melissa has a strong
administrative background with an emphasis in Personnel Management
that was obtained while attending college in Louisiana.

Jennifer Howard |
Jennifer
is STAR'S Equine Manager. She graduated from the University
of Tennessee with majors in Child and Family Studies and Psychology.
She has been riding and working with horses for 10+ years.

Sara Crum |
Sara is STAR's Changing Strides Coordinator and a Registered Level NARHA instructor. Her experience includes at-risk youth programs, Hippotherapy, equine assisted learning with school programs, curriculum development and presenting at workshops. She is certified in therapeutic foster care with the state of Tennessee and a member of the East Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth Council. Currently, she facilitates our Changing Strides Life Skills Program for youth considered at risk.

Steph Clifton |
Steph
is STAR’s Equine Assistant Manager. She has
always been involved in the equine world and currently owns two horses
and one pony. Steph is a member of the American Quarter Horse Association
and attends Pellissippi State where she is pursing a degree in History.

Claire Dickenson |
Claire is STAR's Minis in Motion program coordinator and a Registered Level NARHA Instructor. She holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Tennessee and has 15+ years experience with horses and ponies. Claire is also the coordinator for STAR’s Minis In Motion program and the Interactive Vaulting program.

Lindsey Collier

Lindsey is STAR's Program Assistant and is a Registered Level Instructor. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Auburn University of Montgomery. Specializing in the sport of Eventing, Lindsey has owned and ridden horses for 15 years.

Jan McElroy |
Jan holds a
BS degree in Animal Science and has shown horses on the "A" circuit
for many years. She holds a NARHA Advanced Level Instructor certification
and is the owner/operator
of Hunter Hollow Farm, a private boarding/lesson stable. |

Betsey Knight |
Betsey
is a Registered Level NARHA Instructor. She
has a degree in Recreation Administration with a minor in child development
from California State University at Chico. She is a certified CHA
instructor and owner/operator of Shadow Mountain, a horse camp for
girls. |

Randi Roddy |
Randi
is a Registered Level NARHA Instructor. She is employed by Whirlpool
Corporation and lives in Maryville with her son, Christopher. Randi also holds a BS in Organizational Management from Tusculum College. |

Robin Bowen |
Robin is a NARHA Registered Level Instructor. She is also a parent of a rider, and helps out on various special
events. Robin also helps with the Special Olympics in Loudon County. |

Lynn Lambert |
Lynn
is a Registered Level NARHA Instructor. She has a BS in Mathematics
from the University of Tennessee. Lynn has been riding and showing
since the age of 3. She had been volunteering at STAR for 12 years
prior to receiving her certification. |

Catherine Jennings |
Catherine
is a Registered NARHA Instructor. She holds a Masters
in Education and teaches seventh grade at Cedar Bluff Middle
School. She has 8+ years experience riding and working with horses. |

Jenn Gerard

Jenn is a Registered NARHA Instructor. She holds a BA is Sign Language Interpreting and a Minor in math. She is a Staff Interpreter/Webmaster for Knoxville Center of the Deaf. |

Marilyn Cianciolo |
Marilyn is a Registered NARHA Instructor. She is also
a Certified Yoga Instructor and retired from General Motors Corporation.
She consults in strategic planning and performance assessment for
non-profit organizations. |
